> how long have you been a photographer?

I started getting interested in photography at age 14 when my parents bought me my first semi-professional camera. I would spend hours taking self portraits of myself playing drums in my parents garage. Ha! In 2017 I photographed my first wedding and I was hooked.

> where are you based and do you travel?

I'm based in Lincoln Squre, Chicago, IL. I do accept a limited number of out of state jobs each year so please reach out if you're interested in working together!

> What is cinematic documentary style photography?

Cinematic documentary photography is a unique style that blends the visual storytelling of cinema with the documentary approach of traditional photojournalism. My objective as a photographer is to capture real moments and emotions in a visually stunning and engaging manner. In order to achieve this, I incorporate creative compositions, moody lighting, and movement into my work, creating a sense of drama and tension. My aim is to not just capture what is happening, but also the essence of my subjects, their personalities and stories, through the images I create!

> Do we have rights to the files?

You will have full print and digital usage rights to your photographs. If you choose to share your photos online (which I encourage!), I just ask that you please do not crop, edit or use “filters”! An image credit in the form of a tag is always appriciated as well!

> How do we book with you?

First, please reach out via my contact form HERE. Next, we will plan a time to meet via Zoom or in-person. Then, if you choose me as your photographer, I will send you a digital contract to be reviewed and signed. I require a retainer to secure your date. Payment plans are available upon request!

> Can we order prints/albums through you?

Yes and yes! I offer stunning, timeless, wedding albums, paper prints, canvas prints and more that you can order right from your online gallery!

> How far in advance should we book?

Many couples book me a year or more in advance. However, there are also many spontaneous requests. So, the earlier you contact me, the better the chances are that your date is still available in my calendar!

> Can we meet before booking?

Yes please! I always prefer to get to know my clients before working together. If you’re in the area we can grab a coffee or a drink! If you are not so nearby or it's more convenient for you, we can always meet via Zoom.

> Do you give out RAW/unedited photos?

I do not give out unedited images. I believe that editing is half the magic that goes into images and without this huge step the photos are only halfway complete!

> How will we receive our photos?

You will receive your online gallery within 6-8 weeks after your wedding. I always send out a “sneak peek” within a week of your wedding/elopement because I know you'll be excited to see and share the photos! The majority of my time in the office is spent on color correcting and post processing, so you can be sure that the utmost care is taken with each image and that you'll have a cohesive set of images that tell the story of your celebration.
